If you’ve followed my blog since it’s inception in 2011, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of Aquazzura. There are many reasons I love Aquazzura… the styles are elegant, feminine and so much fun. The silhouettes fit my foot really well along the arch, as well as with the width and are insanely comfortable. They’re crafted beautifully and actually last! Needless to say I’ve become an Aquazzura hoarder. I have more Aquazzura heels in my closet than any other shoe designer! I currently own seven pairs of shoes by Aquazzura and all of them happen to be high heels. Seriously, they’re that comfortable!

You know who is also a fan of this luxury shoe label? Meghan Markle. She’s got quite a few pairs – she wore this pair the day of her engagement announcement, has worn these on a number of royal engagements since she and Prince Harry married, wore a taller version of these in January to the Endeavour Fund awards, and even wore a bespoke white version of this pump for her Royal Wedding reception (that I recently picked up in nude! See below…)! Clearly, the Duchess of Sussex and I have the same obsession! You can see all of the times she’s worn Aquazzura here on Sussex Style Watch…

Anywho, my most recent Aquazzura investment was this pair of Siva pumps in powder pink patent leather that I found at Nordstrom. They have such a great selection of designer shoes! Before this purchase I had two neutral pairs of pumps: one was an investment Manolo Blahnik pair in nude patent leather, and the other was a suede Sam Edelman option in practically the same hue as the Manolos. I really wanted to diversify and add another color option to the mix, as I’ve found myself wearing pumps more and more with baby showers, wedding events, church and more. I also knew I wanted patent leather again, as my Manolos have held up so well for so long! Suede often shows its wear too easily by getting stained, scratched, discolored, and the like.

Not only does this pair of Aquazzura pumps fit that criteria, the heel on these is about an inch shorter than most of my other heels… making them even more comfortable and wearable! It’s basically a lower-heeled version of Meghan’s wedding shoes, but with patent leather instead of mesh and suede. I really love the notched vamp at the toe box – it adds a somewhat sexy touch that provides a leg-elongating effect too! Just like my other Aquazzura heels, I got a size 40 and normally wear a 9 1/2 in all shoes.

These are some of my favorite pairs for spring/summer! That lace-up pair second from left I’ve had since DECEMBER 2012!!! I had them resoled and cleaned a couple years ago and they’re good as new. Such high-quality shoes, that in my opinion, are worth every penny… I also have a black lace-up pair of sandals, a grey pair and a raspberry-red pair (both of which didn’t fit into the color scheme of this photo – haha!). So much love for Aquazzura!!
