Before investing in my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers, I tried a number of other cute sneaker brands (Veja, for example), and found that those were really stiff and required quite a bit of wearing in before they were comfortable on my feet. Golden Goose sneakers, however, are comfortable on their very first wear… which to me, makes them worth the money and the hype! They are the ultimate travel shoe. I primarily wear mine with jeans and casual dresses, but they look super cute with denim shorts too!

I’ve received a number of DMs and questions about Golden Goose sneakers, so I thought I’d tackle them here. Not everyone loves the worn-in look of them, but did you know they have clean pairs too? I love the worn in look though, because then I don’t have to worry about keeping them looking pristine. Keeping anything white clean is difficult, so with them being slightly worn-in/dirty already I know I won’t have to throw them out if they get more scuffs/marks on them like I have had to with past white sneakers.

Regarding sizing, I now have two pairs (this and this) and bought a 40 in both. I normally wear a 9 1/2, which is a 40 in European labels, so they are true to size! I’ve worn both pairs of sneakers so much already (traveling and at home!), so to me they’ve been worth every penny I spent on them. I’m even considering investing in one more pair – this one to be exact. I love the beige + black combo! That way I will have a pair in every neutral I like: gold/grey/white, brown/gold, and black/beige.
