On our very last night in the South of France, Meghan and I went to dinner at Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes! The drive was a bit longer from Nice than we expected, but it was 100% worth it to see this breathtaking property. If you’ve never heard of it before, Hotel du Cap Eden Roc is a seafront luxury landmark hotel that first opened back in 1887. It’s been a favorite of celebrities, royals, famous authors and artists for decades! In fact, many actors and actresses stay on the property during Cannes Film Festival. Because they can hop right on a boat to go to the festival from the hotel, they don’t have to encounter paparazzi as they are entering or leaving the property! The hotel values its guests privacy above all else.

The hotel is set on 22 acres, and features 117 suites, three private villas, two restaurants, a champagne bar, an incredible infinity pool, private cabanas and so much more. All of the interiors are light and bright, with a French-country influence – I’m personally very fond of the blue and white interiors in the main lobby of the hotel! Such beautiful art too.

The two restaurants are situated right on the water, with the Grill on the bottom level overlooking the pool and ocean, while the fine-dining restaurant is on the main floor. On the top floor you’ll find a rooftop terrace, also known as their Champagne Bar! Each setting offered a completely different ambiance – my favorite was actually the Grill. Since we got there early to explore the property, we decided to grab a drink in The Grill before heading up to the main restaurant. The drinks were so delicious! I had a lavender cocktail that was out of this world. We didn’t eat anything but the bar snacks down there, but I bet the food is excellent if it is anything like the drinks!

After happy hour, we dined in the fine-dining restaurant – the dining room was very grand and lovely, but also a bit stuffy. To be completely honest, the meal was absurdly overpriced… but the experience and service were both amazing! They seriously do go above and beyond for their guests. We both did the tasting menu, but if I go back I’ll likely just order what looks good to me from the a la carte menu! We saw so many dishes come to other tables that looked incredible, so I think maybe we just ordered wrong by selecting the tasting menu. Just something to keep in mind if you happen to dine there!

With that said, I highly recommend visiting Hotel du Cap Eden Roc! Whether you splurge on a hotel suite for a few nights or grab lunch/dinner at one of their restaurants, you will be glad you did. Keep scrolling for all of the photos I took – I was in heaven!
