Happy Thursday! Sorry about yesterday’s lack of post/newsletter! Long story short, I was planning to post a collaboration campaign yesterday, but was still waiting on approval from the brand to publish. Often when you work with brands for the first time they ask for a preview so they can offer up edits or feedback! I was planning to wait and just post later in the day after I’d heard back, but as of 1:30pm I hadn’t and just decided to push that content back to Friday… so stay tuned for a great post tomorrow! I also have a blog post coming Sunday, so don’t you worry – definitely not skipping a post this week.
Anyway, if you’ve seen my closet tour video on IGTV you’ll know I have quite the collection of solid neutral tops. Black and white are my favorites, and are the colors I reach for most throughout the year! I have all kinds of styles: camis, tanks, short sleeve tees, long sleeve tees, blouses, off-shoulder tops, button-downs, lace looks and more. Stocking up on solid pieces like this allows me to recreate so many outfits without anyone noticing whether a piece is new or old! Solids tend to be timeless, unless the style is super duper trendy.
As I’ve mentioned before, prints can often look dated a season or two after purchasing. I always tend to discard prints before I get rid of classic solids like black and white if and when I clean out my closet. If you’re on the hunt for some budget-friendly tops and wanting to build up a balanced, wearable wardrobe, don’t miss these timeless basics under $100!
