How’s everyone doing after the long holiday weekend? My weekend started with a very fun night on Friday, which led to a very lazy Saturday… let’s just say I’ve felt better! Sunday was also pretty leisurely, but I did get quite a bit of work done. In addition to working on blog content, I did quite a bit of research for Chicago (thinking about a potential move there next year, for those of you who didn’t catch that on InstaStories!). I also am doing some research for a potential trip to Germany to explore the various Christmas Markets and general sightseeing. I’ll take any and all Germany recommendations if you guys have been recently!!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend and don’t have too much trouble getting back into your routine this week. At least it’s a short one!

We are taking the QM2 crossing from New York to Southampton the first week of December. We plan to go to Christmas Markets in London (after we see SIX!) then on to Munich. We have been exploring the Christmas Market suggestions made by Christina Guan, happytowander.com I hope you’ll share what your research turns up!
Heidelberg is a gorgeous castle town not too far from Frankfurt and I highly recommend it for their Christmas market and general German-castle-town vibes! ❤️ Also Frankfurt in the main shopping district has a really good Christmas market although not as gorgeous as the castle market!
