Did a little IGTV video today featuring my favorite style staple: THE TRENCH! I have amassed quite the collection over the last few years, and I assure you I wear each and every one very often. I love how a trench can add instant polish to any outfit, no matter how casual! They truly are so easy to dress up and down… wear them to work with a pencil skirt and blouse, on the weekend with ripped denim, a tee and sneakers, or dress it up with a lace cami, skinny jeans and heels for a night out!
I find trenches to be a great travel staple too, as I often get chilly on planes or when sightseeing. Finally, as my butt is an area I like to downplay and minimize, I really like how trenches cover that area of insecurity and allow me to feel my most confident! The key to getting the most use out of your trench coat is to buy a style in a solid neutral like this one from Club Monaco. Most of my trench coats actually come from Club Monaco! They release new styles each season, so lately I’ve been buying a couple of styles a year… sounds like a lot, I know, but I wear them SO MUCH. So worth the investment for me personally!
