If you’ve followed me at all on Instagram this summer, you’ve likely heard me talk about American Royals! The author, Katharine McGee, sent me an advanced reader’s copy back in May. I started reading it before boarding my flight to London/Provence in early June and couldn’t. put. it. down. As a royals enthusiast, naturally I love anything royalty related! Katharine described it best as a cross between The Crown and Crazy Rich Asians, which is so accurate! All of the juicy drama and romance you love in a novel, but with a fabulous royal twist.
A few weeks ago I helped co-host a lovely little afternoon tea with the author at The Joule’s Taschen Library in Dallas, and it was so fun talking to other local bloggers about the book! In addition to the delightful afternoon tea, each blogger took home a final copy of the book to read along with some other awesome party favors. Side note: I’d never had afternoon tea at The Joule before and it was amazing! They only do it on weekends and you must make a reservation in advance, but highly recommend it if you’re in the Dallas area.
Anyway, since I first started talking about American Royals in June I’ve had so many of you reach out about the book and ask when you could buy a copy. I’m excited to announce that the book is finally available for purchase as of yesterday! Whether you’re an avid reader, are in a monthly book club or just read on vacay, this book needs to be next up on your list. It is also a great gift idea for the royal fanatics in your life!
