Somehow I made it all the way through September without doing an At Any Age post, so here we are starting off October right! I’m actually in Dallas for the next couple of weeks, but on the 19th I’ll be heading up to the Hamptons for a week with my mom and sister. So looking forward to some girl time, cozy sweater weather and great food!

Why does there need to be an age attached to the various styles? It feels very much like agism. I am 52 and out of those four style boards, the one for a person in their “30s” fits me the best. I saw this picture on Pinterest and was planning to pin it, until I saw the labels for the ages. Come on… This is 2020.

This series is actually a reader favorite – it’s meant as inspiration, as I often receive questions from people in certain age ranges for ideas on how to style a piece or a trend. Never do I say you can’t wear certain things based on your age. As you say, it’s 2020 – let’s not take things so seriously!

Loved all the pieces (except distressed jeans (I’m too old for that silliness)…but replaced with high waist straight jeans, and I could see my self wearing every piece, mixing and matching. Great taste in your choices! looking forward to following you.
