Happy Monday! This weekend was SO much fun! We had our 10 year college reunion from SMU, followed by a Friendsgiving dinner I hosted at my house last night. It’s hard enough getting my whole group of friends together at once throughout the year, but even more so during the holiday season. I wanted to do one big get together before we all get too crazed! In case you missed it on stories, I partnered with Eatzi’s to promote their online ordering for Thanksgiving and it was such a breeze! Now through November 26th, you can easily place an order for a delicious Thanksgiving meal via their website and schedule to pick it up any day between Thursday, November 21st and Wednesday, November 27th. The food was all SO GOOD (which is typical for Eatzi’s – I go there every week!), and took the pressure off me to cook everything. If you’re wanting to have a delicious Thanskgiving meal but don’t want to cook, definitely check out the menu and place an order here!
On Friday night I debuted one of my other Hamptons purchases, this reversible vest! It was on major sale at the Aerin store in East Hampton, plus it’s definitely my color. I love soft neutrals like this! I actually paired it with a cream sweater and different bag Friday night, which you can see here. I ordered a few sweater dresses to try recently that I think it will look great layered over as well! Vests like this are very useful in Texas where it is chilly, but not cold enough to warrant a full coat.
I wanted to also mention these leather knee-high boots. They’re a favorite of mine and this will be my third year wearing them! Clearly an investment, but this color has been very useful in my wardrobe. They’re a sleek style that transitions effortlessly from day to night. The heel is high, but very comfortable! They also come in a bunch of other gorgeous neutrals like black, cognac and ivory.
