Dallas has already had a very chilly fall, which I’m guessing means we’re in for it this winter! While the weather isn’t as cold as Chicago, for example, on Monday we had another cold front come in, bringing with it 23 degree weather. If you’re not familiar with Dallas, that’s pretty crazy for early November! Needless to say I’ve been cozying up in my favorite sweaters, but I’ve also added a few new extra-warm outerwear pieces to my wardrobe! The first one I picked up is this white long puffer coat from Everlane.

It’s really lightweight and super warm, which I feel like isn’t a combo you find very often. It has a zippered and buttoned front, pockets and a hood – functional features that make it ideal for all kinds of fall/winter weather scenarios. This coat also comes in a rich camel color as well as black, but I thought the white was the most striking option! I also have a bunch of black and camel coats already, so white was a unique choice that will help diversify my winter wardrobe. This puffer coat is made from 100% recycled polyester, and 100% recycled down and feathers, making it a sustainable option as well! Plus, it’s under $200. SIZING NOTES: I’m wearing a small in both the puffer and the cashmere turtleneck. The coat is roomy enough for me to wear thicker sweaters underneath, which is great! The turtleneck is more fitted, so if you want a more relaxed fit size up. Jeans fit a little on the smaller side, so size up if you don’t want them too tight!
