Y’all. I am OBSESSED with these booties! They were purchased on a whim as I was ordering a couple of other pairs to try during cyber week sales. I honestly thought I was going to return them, but when I got them in the mail I fell head over kitten heels. For those of you who have followed me for awhile, kitten heels are generally not my favorite. I usually prefer a taller heel as I find them to be more flattering, but because the statement of these shoes is in the gold shimmer, the kitten heel feels so right. They were also such a great choice for London dinners, because I walked everywhere! Needless to say, I’m a kitten heel convert.

They fit true to size – I’m normally a 9.5/40, and a 40 is what I took! Just a heads up on fit: the ankle is pretty narrow on these. Great for wearing with tights and long leggings, and while jeans tucked in, it was a tighter fit on me!

Speaking of leggings, here I’m wearing my favorite faux-leather pair by Commando. They feature a control top waist and are seamless, which allows for the most flattering look (no thin waistband! no bulges!). In addition to being flattering and actually looking like real leather, they are SO stretchy and comfortable. I actually wore these on my 10 hour flight back from Europe! Did I mention they’re under $100 and also come in extended sizes? I’m wearing a medium!
