I wore this outfit to my friend Courtney’s daughter’s baptism and brunch last weekend! You saw this fiery red number on me first at my reader meet-up and happy hour in Chicago. This dress is the most perfect shade of orangey-red, in a sophisticated, flattering and absolutely classic silhouette! For a more winter-appropriate look, I styled this dress over tall black boots and cinched in the waist with a black belt (see it here!). The day of Gigi’s baptism it was a beautiful 73 degrees and sunny, so I opted for neutral heels and a matching bag instead! The long sleeves make it a versatile, transitional option for wearing from winter into spring. The silhouette is modest enough for work and church functions, but the color makes it SO fun and fabulous enough to dress up for any kind of cocktail party or wedding this spring/summer! I love the blouson sleeves, covered buttons and pretty pleated details on the skirt too. This dress really has and does it all!
