Hello, hello! Hope you guys are having a nice week so far. This week I decided to change a few things around my house to see if it will help me adjust to the current situation a little better. I’ve been struggling with a little anxiety and restlessness, which has made focusing and getting work done kind of difficult. I’d been letting myself sleep pretty late because why not, but this week I’m making myself wake up at 7:30 (which is still an hour later than I usually to wake up!). By rising so late I feel like I blow through the most productive/focused part of my day (the morning).

I also decided I’m going to try and “get ready” for the day by putting on a regular outfit vs sweats or athleisure. The act of putting on a cute outfit can definitely uplift my mood, so testing that theory in this situation this week! Basically I just did whatever last week, and I’m trying to give myself more structure this week. I’ll report back on if those small changes help me regain my productivity!

If you’re fortunate enough to work from home right now like I am (so grateful to all of you essential workers in health care, food, delivery, etc!!!), what is helping keep you on track and focused during the week?
