Last week I made a concerted effort to get ready and put on regular outfits every day, but you better believe I switched into my loungewear once each day was over! I’ve also been wearing my loungewear favorites every weekend. It’s not like I’ll be out and about anyway, so I might as well be as comfy as possible! Right as COVID-19 was picking up speed in the US last month, I ordered a couple of new loungewear outfits from Nordstrom. The first set I ordered was a black Lou & Grey sweatshirt and the matching shorts (now sold out!). If you see those come back in stock, BUY THEM IMMEDIATELY! They are so comfy and soft. They’re pretty lightweight too, which is great for Texas spring/summer weather.
The second loungewear look I purchased is this wonderfully soft waffle-knit pullover and matching pants! In addition to being incredibly comfortable and cute on, the price point can’t be beat! The pullover is only $38, while the pants are $50! The color is sort of a white wash/heather grey look, which feels more light and bright for spring than my black set. If you want something even more spring forward, both the top and pants come in a pretty lilac hue too! The length on the pants is perfect (I’m 5’9 for reference), and I love the comfy drawstring waist and pockets. The top is a classic crewneck with long sleeves, but features a stylish twist detail at the side – you can’t see it here as I’ve tucked it in though. See the product page on Nordstrom for a closeup! For sizing reference, I got a small in both this top and the Lou & Grey sweatshirt, and a medium in these pants as well as the Lou & Grey shorts.
