Oh, what a happy Wednesday it is! The Style Scribe Summer 2020 Capsule Wardrobe has arrived! Thank goodness I finished working on this before I brought Reeses home – she’s a handful and has been keeping me busy!! The Summer Capsule contains 23 cute pieces for summer styled over 200 ways! As many people in the nation continue to social distance and stay home, I made this capsule a bit more casual than the others I’ve made before. Don’t worry, it definitely includes outfits for dinners and date night, but not as many work-focused or dressy items this time. I also didn’t include any jackets or coats in this capsule – if you live somewhere cool and need another layer, use a jean jacket, green utility jacket, or a light neutral trench! All three of these items were featured in the Spring Capsule, so you wouldn’t have to buy anything new.
Like all of my capsule wardrobes, the Summer Capsule Wardrobe is designed mostly as inspiration for you to get the most out of the pieces you already have! If you pick up a few new items, great! But you likely have a version of many of these pieces already hanging in your closet if you don’t want to spend any money. As always, I did my best to choose budget-friendly and size-inclusive products, with the exception of a few select pieces! If you want more options though, the last few pages feature additional similar styles in a variety of sizes and price points!
