FLORALS FOR FALL – GROUNDBREAKING

08.31

Gotta throw in a reference to The Devil Wears Prada whenever you talk florals! If you caught my InstaStories last week (or this post over the weekend!), you may have seen this stunning tie-neck blouse! If you can believe it, this beauty is only $80. I absolutely love the moody, dark floral print on such an effortless, elegant silhouette! The tie neck detail can be styled a few different ways, which is fun for some variety (scroll down for examples!). It’s pretty sheer, so I’d suggest styling it over a black or nude cami if you plan to wear it to the office/church (hopefully sometime in the future!!) or just prefer to be more covered up. The color scheme of the floral print features a variety of warm colors, but with a black backdrop this blouse is incredibly easy to style. I love it with black jeans, leather pants and skirts, but it could also be really gorgeous against a camel-colored suede skirt or something similar!

This blouse is super lightweight too, which is amazing for a Texas fall! That also means it’s a great layering piece you can wear under all kinds of jackets, blazers, etc when the temps drop. Clearly, I’m obsessed! I wish this blouse had come out before I’d finished the Fall 2020 Capsule Wardrobe, because it is so much more *me* than the other MANGO printed blouse I featured. This is just one of those effortless, timeless pieces – and how amazing is it that it’s a budget-friendly find?! If you’re not convinced, I truly don’t know what else to tell you. Highly recommend! Size wise, I went with a 6. It’s pretty billowy all around, so if you have a smaller chest you could definitely size down.

I thought I’d share two ways to style it in today’s post: for work (skirt) and for play (jeans)! I plan to wear this all season long, so keep your eye out for more ways to style this blouse on my Instagram. Scroll down to shop everything you see here!

PS: This blouse is great for tall gals! I’m 5’9 and have a fairly long torso, and this blouse is still very long on me. Love that!
