While many of us continue to work from home, I do know just as many are heading back to the office now or sometime soon! In addition to requests for regular office attire, I’ve received requests from those working remotely to share some Zoom-friendly tops and cute accessories to step up your video conference call game this season.
One piece I recently got in the mail that is ideal for any office setting (at home or the real thing!), is this printed midi dress. The silhouette is so comfortable, flattering and effortless! I’m 5’9, and the hem of the dress hits me a few inches above my ankles, which is perfect. You may have heard me say this before, but with a midi dress like this you want the hem to hit on or near the smallest part of your ankle! Just like when cinching your waist with a belt, you’re trying to draw attention to the narrowest area for more flattering look overall.
The print of this dress features white, beige and cognac colors against a black backdrop – such great neutrals to style with! I’m wearing a size 6, which is true to size for me from MANGO. The waist is a drawstring fabric belt, which usually I don’t care for, but don’t mind on this particular dress. Mostly because it is situated in the right spot on my torso! So many of MANGO’s pieces run shorter on me and the belts usually land too high up on my stomach. But this dress is a fabulous style for taller gals like myself!
