OMA THE LABEL JEWELRY

Back in November I shared this roundup of Black-owned businesses to consider shopping from during the holiday season, and ended up buying a few things for myself on Small Business Saturday! I bought several items from Oma The Label and have been wearing a few key pieces nonstop since they arrived in the mail. You’ve probably seen these over on my Instastories if you follow along on Instagram! Read on to find out what I bought and love, and what’s in my shopping cart now…

Oma The Label was created by New York based stylist, Neumi Anekhe, in 2018, and features high-quality, chic jewelry at approachable price points. As a gold lover, I was so excited to discover her almost entirely gold collection with pieces ranging from glamorous chain bracelets and necklaces to eye-catching earrings and sparkling rings!

When I shop for jewelry there are a few things I want out of the pieces I buy: for one, I want it to be unique. Unless it’s a classic pair of diamond studs or hoops, I don’t want something everyone else has! Second, it should be useful – something I can wear every day. While I occasionally buy statement jewelry, I prefer smaller, more understated items for day-to-day wear. Finally, I want the jewelry to look expensive, even if it’s a budget-friendly buy! Oma The Label jewelry nails every single point. The pieces are gorgeous, well-priced and perfect for everyday wear!

I bought a number of pieces on Small Business Saturday, but my very favorite buys from Oma The Label have been the Neumi ear cuff (I got the stones option!), the Sadie ring (in the round stones option!), and the Philo knotted bangle. I’ve worn the Sadie ring almost every day since I got it – it’s simple and effortless, but so so pretty! The ear cuff has been such a fun addition to my earring collection! It looks amazing with all of my other gold earrings and ear climbers. I don’t wear bracelets as often as earrings and rings (don’t like wearing them at my desk!), but I’ve been throwing on the knotted bangle for those rare outings and small get togethers with friends. It’s so lightweight, you hardly know you’re even wearing a bracelet!

Needless to say, I’m thrilled with my purchases and definitely plan to buy more pieces from Oma The Label. The next items in my shopping cart are this dazzling new tennis bracelet (obsessed!), these hoops and these earrings/cuffs. I highly recommend checking out what’s in their shop if you’re on the hunt for cool and affordable jewelry!
