In case you missed it on my Instagram stories or in last week’s podcast episode, I recently threw a big party at my house in celebration of my 35th birthday! I’m not usually big on birthdays, but have been eager to host something fun at my new house and wanted to give people a reason to dress up + party. My friend Katie gave me the idea for the theme, La Dolce Vita, at brunch in May, and that really got the wheels turning with ideas! In keeping with the theme, I had beautiful blue + white tablecloths, a limoncello signature cocktail, fresh white, green and yellow florals (with lemons!), and fresh Italian food served. It ended up being such a fabulous evening and turnout! Quite a few people stayed over until 3am, if you can believe it. It was certainly the latest night I’ve had in awhile, and it was 100% worth it. Thank you to everyone who helped me celebrate!

Happy Birthday! Mine is in 2 wks, the reverse of your age, but when I went to the CVS pharmacy last week to get my “youth pills” (aka birth control, lol) the pharmacist’s jaw dropped open when I gave her my DOB, she said, “I thought you were about 35!” “I said, well, never had kids, got married several years ago, then divorced shortly after, maybe that’s the secret??” lol.
