It’s still pretty toasty in Dallas, so even though I want to pull out all of my fall favorites, I’m reaching for dresses to beat the heat instead. In terms of summer dresses, I’ve got that totally covered – in fact, I definitely have too many and need to donate + sell a few. But when looking at options to wear now and into early fall, I don’t have many to choose from! Even though it’s hot out, I’d still like to lean into fall color schemes instead of just option for black, so I ordered a few new dresses from Nordstrom to try. Ulla Johnson has been a go to of mine for years, specifically for their gorgeous selection of dresses! She’s known for using more earthy, rich hues in a lot of her prints, so naturally she came to mind when I was in search of fall-looking styles! This midi dress specifically caught my eye as a great option for day-to-night wear. I love the cross back straps and the thicker apron-style bodice. Another one I ordered to try was this long-sleeved minidress! Such a beautiful print and the color scheme is on point for fall… and the silk fabric is super luxe and lightweight!
