We’ve had a real heat wave here in Dallas this last week, and it doesn’t look like cold weather will be back anytime soon. I went ahead and reorganized my closet last weekend for the new spring season, moving my winter things up and out, and the lightweight looks to the forefront. One thing I did that I haven’t done before is hang my jeans vertically, as opposed to folding and hanging them! My friend Amy does this and that inspired me to give it a try. I love being able to see each pair clearly so I know what I’m working with. I feel like when folded it’s hard to see the details that make them unique, and I end up just reaching for the same pairs every single day! Now I can see them all and I feel like I have a lot more variety to work with.
This raw hem pair is the latest style to grace my closet! They’re in my favorite 90’s Pinch Waist style that AGOLDE does, but with a cool frayed hem. The classic blue wash also makes them versatile year round, so they’re the perfect pair for casual, everyday wear! I love styling them with sweaters and flats, as well as chic button-down shirts like this one! Isn’t the chevron pocket so genius! It creates such a nice contrast against the vertical stripes, and proves basics don’t have to be boring.
If you’re in the market for some fresh elevated basics, don’t miss the roundup below!
